Shipping Container Home Project Gets Approval In North Carolina

Congratulations to DwellBox, they are only the second ISBU shipping container housing project to be approved and built in North Carolina, the other project was the Military offices at Fort Bragg.
We are especially proud of them because they are ISBU Association members and besides their success at getting their project approval they are doing excellent job of photos and documentation of their project. You can see their hard work and daily progress at their DwellBox Blog. GreenMan Studios provided and excellent design and plan showing how easy to make an ISBU home look quite conventional.
As far as we’re concerned they’ve done everything right; simple but thorough planning; focus on county approval; and excellent documentation which is so critical for the rest of us. This makes these projects really live for the rest of us.
