Container Art Project Continues It’s Global Journey
One of the 37 Art containers traveling the globe.
July 2009 marks the first anniversary beginning of the three year Art Container Project. Now, with 37 art containers they continue their global journey with the assistance from our colleagues at New Jersey based ACL (Atlantic Container Line) and Dubai based Emirates Shipping Line.
The concept of the global container art project originated in Hong Kong, the heart of global shipping and logistics industry. In ceremonies his past April the prestigious Hong Kong Arts Development Council honored the Arts Container Program with the Hong Kong Arts Development Award for education. This bronze award is a significant recognition of this global art project.
Shipping containers and the global Logistics industry are what supply the world economy and the Art Container Project has captured its global container movement to celebrate the Container industry and also promote the artists messages and concepts:
