We will focus on these using the templates to show the simple changes that can create very different appearances with little effort. Please Note: Many ISBU designs and architectural renderings we are seeing on the internet are very cute but are not designed feasably. Therefore, we have asked the people at Tuff Cube to only create designs that are usable for a real construction project. We are doing our very best to give our readers a detailed archive they can use for reference; inside and out.![]()

40HC Box- This has become the most popular size globally due to shipping costs and and also it's 1' taller roof. The truck shipping costs of a 20GP compared to a 40HC are almost identical when you get quotations. Also the cost of shipping containers from China is only about 30% more when used for import/export goods. Therefore it is a terrific savings for an importer to only order goods using the 40HC size. Note that as the template peels away the layers the graphics are nearly lifelike. The drawings were created by a structural engineer who creates shipping container architecture. He has made the walls, floor and frame dimensions near perfect so we can get a true and undistorted vision of realistic shipping container home and office designs. If you choose to keep the costs down and retain the rustic look of an ISBU the proper paints and vivid coloring are crucial to remaining attractive. The disign and small details are on of the most important keys to a design that will be acceptable to almost anyone. Colors - Design... Once the interior of the ISBU shipping container module has a 2x4 metal frame, it can accept virtually any standard door and window hardware and still remain precise, inexpensive and very attractive. For step-by-step details and these free 3D templates please login to the Member Section and go to the Tools section. [ Link ] As demonstrated here, large windows can be added yet the ISBU can retain it's structural strength even with 4 or more levels of ISBU modules on top. Even a single ISBU is ideal fora room addition, student dorm, office or BizPod. Remember, this is a standard 40HC ISBU shipping container drawn to perfect proportion under the direction of an architect and his pstructural engineer partner who design shipping containers for the largest manufacturer in the world. The container is normal size with a ceiling and insulated walls with 2x4 aluminum studs and all the furnishings are normal size and styles including a 17" flat screen digital TV. These photos are from the Tuff Cube series of 3D consumer templates. Continue to the other links for more Cubic Inspirations.
